Language has been used for the purpose of communication since the beginning of time!
It is very important for our local people to get the opportunity to develop their own language. The inability to do so has caused a struggle for many students over the years . It has been unrealistically expected from local students to develop a foreign language on an academic level, without having developed their own language properly. We want to offer everyone on the island the possibility to learn Papiamento and for the Papiamento speakers the opportunity to develop their own language. By developing their own language they will be better equipped and capable to learn other languages and develop them on a high academic level.
CAS DI PAPIAMENTO offers classes of Papiamento and the three other main languages spoken on the island to foreign speakers as well as locals. All classes are offered in small groups of 4 to 10 participants, and can also be offered in private sessions. We also offer on-site classes to companies and private groups.
Office hours are from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, classes are given from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm and on Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
